Please make sure it is connected to 2.4GHz WIFI. Avoid special characters in the WIFI name (SSID) or password.
If it still cannot connect, please try connecting to a hotspot from your computer.
Turn on the hotspot of your computer
1. Click the WIFI icon in the lower right corner to open the WIFI list.
2. Right-click the "Mobile Hotspot" option at the bottom to access the WIFI hotspot settings page.
3. Turn on the hotspot.
4. Click 'edit' to enter the WIFI hotspot configuration page.
5. Set the hotspot's name, password and frequency band.
6. Make sure the WIFI hotspot is turned ‘On’.
7. Confirm that the hotspot name, password, and frequency band are displayed correctly.
8. Ensure that Power Saving Mode is turned Off to avoid connection issues.
Connect the hotspot
1. Plug the adapter and connect to the miner, wait until the fans start spinning and the second blue light fast blinking.
2. Connect the WIFI generated by miner, whose name starts with Goldshell-BYTE. If you can't find it, please take an eject pin and press the reset button. You'll need to hold it for a moment, and then the miner will reboot. See How to reset the miner.
3. While your computer successfully connects to miner's free-access WIFI, Enter http://192.168.77.1/#/, then click 'System', find the WIFI settings, then click the WLAN button, find your computer's hotspot, enter the corresponding password, and click 'OK'.
After your Goldshell BYTE successfully connects to WIFI, the second indicator light on the front panel will stay solid and the miner free-access hotspot will disappear.
If the WIFI connection fails, the second light will keep blinking.
4. Press the miner's IP button then visit find.goldshell.com to reach the new miner dashboard.
