Tutorial for Goldshell Hub Platform (Cloud Control)

Goldshell Hub Platform is an all-in-one platform designed to make mining cryptocurrency easy and accessible for everyone, and it offers remote control and tracking capabilities, enabling you to manage the status of miners that are not on the same local area network (LAN). 

In this tutorial, we'll walk you through the steps to get started with Goldshell Hub Platform.

How to connect miners to Hub platform?

If your miner supports WIFI and hasn't been connected to the internet, you can directly add it to the Hub via a wireless connection.

1. Register or log in Goldshell Hub Platform, then go to "Miner" and click 'ADD MINER' ; Install the Goldshell Miner Find Chrome extension and once installed, click 'ADD MINER' again.

2. Power on the miner. Click the link below.

And you will see two instruction images guiding you to first reset the miner (See How to reset the miner）, and then connect your computer to the miner's hotspot. The hotspot's name starts with Goldshell. 

After connecting to the miner's hotspot, click "NEXT", and enter the miner unlock password, which is 123456789.

Then select your local WIFI for your miner, enter the WIFI password, click "Next". 

Note: 

• The miner only supports 2.4GHz WiFi.

• Avoid using overly long passwords.

• Avoid special characters in the WiFi name (SSID) or password.

After connecting to WIFI, the miner's hotspot will disappear. Remember to reconnect your computer to your WIFI. 

Click "confirm", and add the mining pool to start mining. 

If your miner is already connected to a network and is on the same network as your computer, you can follow the instructions below to add it to the Hub.

Option One:

1. Register or log in Goldshell Hub Platform, then go to "Miner" and click 'ADD MINER' ; Install the Goldshell Miner Find Chrome extension and once installed, click 'ADD MINER' again.

2. Select your miner and click 'One click access to the cloud'.

3. Enter your miner's dashboard unlock password.

If you enter the wrong password and it would show "Failed to add".

Successfully added.

Please note that, if you already downloaded Goldshell Miner Find extension, when you clicked ADD MINER, the following page would not show up.

Option two:

1. Enter find.goldshell.com, click the corresponding icon in the settings column to gain access to the miner dashboard (Ensure that your miner and your device are connected to the same network and frequency band).

2. Unlock your miner.

3. Enter "System", enable Cloud Control.

4. Register or log in Goldshell Hub Platform, go to https://hub.goldshell.com/usersetting, copy your Account Key.

5. Paste the account key into the Cloud Control settings, and your miner will be successfully added.

Tips: Before you delete the miner, you have to disable the cloud control feature of your miner, or it will not succeed.

Introduction

Dashboard

In this page, it can be divided into two major sections, the income section and the notification section.

The left part is about the miner's revenue data, the top left is the day's revenue, the week's revenue and the month's revenue data; Below these three data is the yield curve, which is convenient for more intuitive feeling of profit; At the bottom is revenue data by currency, and the price data is updated in real time.

The right section is the notice about the miner. Click ‘view more’ to go to the notifications page for details.

Miner

From this page, you can manage miners in batches.

At the top left is the data overview, with data on current revenue, as well as total miner count and online presence.

The search function is provided in the upper right corner to search for the name of the miner for quick location. After downloading the extension of Goldshell Miner Find, you can click the 'ADD MINER' button to quickly add miners.

1. Click the miner IP address will take you to the miner dashboard, if the miner and your computer is under the same nework. 

2. Select the miner or click the small wrench button to bring up the Settings and perform some operations on the miner.

3. Click 'details' or the name of miner to go to the details page for this miner.

You can also perform the operations on the miner in detail page. For explanations of terms such as 'average hashrate', please refer to the User guides.

Batch operation

Select multiple miners to perform batch operations.

Settings

There are four functions in this page.

1. Miner Alert

In Miner Alert, you can set up a miner to send you a notification when something like 'Miner goes offline' or 'Hashrate drop 50%' happens to the miner.

2. Mining strategy

Configure your power mode to suit your preferences and apply your settings on the Miner page. At the scheduled time, the miner will switch to the designated power mode.

3. Pool address

Pre-configure pool addresses here and apply them in bulk.

4. Group

Tag miners according to your grouping preferences. Create new group to easily manage and search miners.

5. Miner Restar
When the miner's real-time hashrate drops below 10% of the rated hashrate and persists for 30 Mins, the system will automatically send a restart command to restore performance.

Click on 'Help' to go directly to our Help Center.

Notification

On this page, you can see the abnormal behavior generated by the miner in the past. You can search the miner's name or mac address to find the corresponding miner. 

Check Your Warranty

Click on this button to be redirected to the warranty query page.

After entering the SN code on the miner, you can start checking the warranty status.

Click ‘CONTACT US’ in the upper right corner to go to the Help Center.
